It’s a paid membership that gives you access to an array of Amazon services and improvements for a yearly or monthly fee, to services such as, but not limited to: Prime Video Free Trial

As a member, you’ll get a free sample for six months that gives you the following benefits, Free two-day shipping on qualifying orders, Prime Video, special deals and discounts just for students, five months of LinkedIn Premium for free, and the Calm app for free for three months and then $8.99 per year.
Sharing Your Prime Membership
Amazon lets you add up to four other people to your Prime account to get free shipping, but they have to live in the same house as you. Go to the Amazon Household page and click “Add Adult/Teen/Child” to set it up. You’ll need the email address they used to sign up for Amazon. The process also calls for people to share details about their credit or bank cards.
Find Deals on Amazon.com.
The “Today’s Deals” link on every Amazon page will take you to the best deals on new items. Daily, new deals are in the “Gold Box Deals of the Day” area. There are also “Lightning Deals” that are only good for a short time and sometimes end in just minutes. Use the Amazon app to remain on top of everything. You can see many deals 24 hours before they go live and sign up for updates.
Watch For Deals on Amazon.
If you like a deal, save it by clicking “Watch this deal.” Then, click here to see the deals you are watching.
Follows and Compares Prices
- Save this site for keeping track of prices. Camelcamelcamel.com keeps an eye on almost every product on Amazon. It can tell you which ones are on sale the most on any given day, show you a listing’s price history, and let you know when the price of something you want drops.
- You can also check quickly to see if an item is cheaper somewhere else by using the site PriceGrabber or the app PriceBlink.
- There is also WikiBuy, which is both a website and an add-on. You can get cash back, use coupon codes, and watch for things on sale.
- Keepa is an add-on for your browser that works identically to Camelcamelcamel, except it puts the history of prices on the Amazon selling page. It also comes as a mobile app.
Clip Coupons
Amazon gives freebies out. There is a whole area on Amazon that is just for freebies. There are deals for technology, pet supplies, toys, and more. There’s no need for knives or paper coupons. To start using Amazon coupons, go to Amazon.com and click on the link at the top that says “Today’s Deals.” Click on “Coupons” in the list of submenus.
Find Promo Codes
We already told you that you should try the Wikibuy app to find discount codes, but Honey or Rakuten are also good alternatives. They will find deals for you instantly and use them when you check out. Just put the app on your browser, and it will do everything.
Gift Cards can be made from Loose Change
You can use a Coinstar machine to add the change you have in your bag to an Amazon gift card. It’s free, and you don’t have to pay the usual service fee of 11.9% that comes with exchanging cash. If you select an Amazon gift card, you won’t have to pay a fee and will get an eGift Card code that you can use immediately.
Earn Amazon Gift Cards for Free
There are a lot of rewards and poll sites where you can do online jobs to earn points that you can then use to buy Amazon gift cards. For example, Swagbucks is a site where you can join for free and make points by taking surveys. There are also i-Say and MyPoints.

With it, you can watch for product contrast that saves you time and money, get quick links to popular Amazon hubs directly from your browser, and use desktop notifications to know when deals you’re watching go live. You can also use it to find out about sales and shipping.
Monthly Payment Plans on Items
Some things on Amazon can be paid for over several months. This deal is only good for items sold and shipped by Amazon.com, like the Amazon Echo, but it also works for third-party items from other sellers. Just look for “monthly payments” on the page about the goods.
Amazon Cash (or Top Up)
With Amazon Cash, you can put more money into your Amazon account. It lets you put the cash towards your Amazon account amount, so you can finally spend money on Amazon without using a credit card or gift card.
Amazon Checkout and Delivery
Same-day Or One-hour Delivery
Prime members may have their orders delivered on the same day in more than 8,000 places if they spend more than $35. You’ll get your package by 9pm if you order by noon. If you place your order in the evening, it will arrive the next day for free. Go here to find out if you can join. Amazon Prime Now also lets you get things delivered in a matter of hours. Type your ZIP code to find out if you can use this choice.
Late Delivery Refund
If you purchase something that counts for free shipping in Prime but doesn’t come on time, you may receive a one-month increase on your membership. Amazon will return the shipping costs if you don’t have Prime. Go to Contact Amazon, click “An Order I Placed,” choose your order, click “Problem with an Order,” and then click “Shipping or Delivery Issues.” The package is late.
Amazon Cards, Awards, and Points
Shopping With Prize Points
Amazon has a few cards which let you get points as prizes. You can get gift cards with these points. But points don’t work for digital files, monthly items, or food items. You can add American Express, Discover, Citi, and other credit cards to your Amazon account to Shop With Points.
Check out the Chase Amazon.com Rewards Visa Card, which you can utilize anywhere to earn points. If you live in the US and are a Prime member, you get five points for every dollar you consume at Amazon and Whole Foods, two points for every dollar you spend at restaurants, drugstores, as well as gas stations, and one point for every dollar you spend on anything else.
If you have 100 points, you can spend $1 on Amazon. There’s also the Amazon Store Card, which gives you discounts when you shop at Amazon. When US Prime members buy qualifying things only available through Prime, they get 5% back. You’ll get a $60 voucher when you sign up if you qualify.
Amazon Credit Builder
Amazon launched Amazon Credit Builder in partnership with Synchrony Financial to lend money to US users with bad credit or no credit history. It comes with a card that gives you 5% cash back on everything you buy. It also tells you how to improve your credit.
To start, Synchrony is giving out “secured” credit cards, on which people can put down $200 and have a credit cap of $200. You’ll be asked to apply if you aren’t approved for a normal Amazon credit card. But you can also apply for the new card next to any other Amazon card. Go to Apply for Amazon Credit Builder, click “Apply Now,” and then follow the steps on the screen.
Amazon No-rush Shipping Credit
Prime members can get something extra if they choose free shipping with no rush at checkout (instead of the two-day choice). Most of the time, your package will come inside five days, and points will be added to your account that you can use to buy more things in the future.
